Hold these beautiful pebbles in the palm of your hand and watch the colour change as they catch the light, from dark grey and black to electric blue, turquoise, green and gold. A never-ending array of colour, which can be enjoyed and wondered at for years to come.
Labradorite/Lemurian Blue is a Calcium-sodium-aluminium rich Feldspar, part of the Plagioclase feldspars grouping. The main characteristics of the material is the amazing play of iridescent colours known as its Labradoressence or Schillerisation. This labradoressence is caused when light is refracted from the thin mineral facets within the stone.
