Zarafasaura is an extinct genus of elasmosaurid plesiosaur, a marine reptile. These specimens were found in the Northwestern region of Morocco in Phosphatic limestone deposits, which seems to bare very rich marine vertebrate remains. Zarafasaurus was a relatively small plesiosaur, measuring approx 4-6 metres, so could this be the elusive Loch Ness monster!!
